A 2016 Standing Liberty quarter struck in 24K gold, sealed in a Numismatic Guaranty Corporation holder. The label reads 2016 W 25C, then 24K GOLD 1/4oz, then SP 70 in large type across the bottom line. This one does not rest on the label alone. The coin itself is inscribed AU 24K over 1/4 OZ on the pedestal block, and the listing says 24kt gold, .25 ozt, West Point. Three sources, one answer. The obverse is the Standing Liberty design, shield and olive branch in hand, LIBERTY across the top, with 2016 at the base and a W struck to its left. The reverse shows an eagle in flight to the right between UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and QUARTER DOLLAR, and the coin sits on the holder's white core under four retaining prongs.
