#11 • Dolly Micro/Mini Dun Highland Heifer

Part of Cows Kill Cancer Fall Mini Cow Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $15,500.00

Status: Sold

Late to the catalog, but already the star of the barn! Meet Dolly, our little dun Highland heifer named in honor of Dolly Parton. One look tells you she’s something special, but her personality is what makes her one in a gazillion. Fun-loving, full of charm, and absolutely in love with her humans—this girl doesn’t just get your attention, she keeps it! Her mother, Holley, sells later in the auction and has been a phenomenal cow, consistently giving us phenomenal babies. Dolly is a beautiful example of what she produces. Letting these two go is hard. If my circumstances were different, they’d both be staying in my barn. Dolly may be a late addition, but a girl like this needs no introduction—just someone ready to love her as much as we do.  Dolly 82449 Heifer Holly and Silver Splendor Sex: Heifer Date of Birth: 07/31/2026 Breed: Miniature Highland Chondrodysplasia (BD1): Positive (N/BD1) Horn Status: Horned (H/H) Extension (MC1R): Eᴰ/E+ (Dominant black, carrier of wild type) Dilution (PMEL17): Dh/N (One copy of the Highland dilution variant) Milk Proteins: (Beta-Casein): A2/A2 (Kappa-Casein): A/B (Beta-Lactoglobulin): B/B Sire: BCC The Famous Silver Splendor – 2018 Dun-tipped High-percentage Miniature Highland bull, Chondro Positive, 37″ at 5 years old.
