High bid $20.00

Status: Available

Nine pairs of cufflinks, nine different moods. Eighteen pieces in all, listed as matching and complete, ready to cover a whole rotation of shirts, from boardroom to wedding to Friday night. Start with the showpieces. A round gold-tone pair with a beaded rim carries a gold-tone domed-building design on a dark navy ground. The building looks to be a capitol-style dome. A square silver-tone pair frames faceted purple stones inside a zigzag-cut border, on toggle backs. A two-tone oval pair mixes gold and silver with chevron detailing around a plain gold-tone center, finished with toggle backs edged in rope texture. Then the everyday heroes. An oval chrome-look pair with a black and iridescent white checkerboard inlay rides on swivel bullet backs. A rectangular silver-tone pair shows an iridescent white inlay that looks like mother-of-pearl or shell, on what appear to be swivel toggle backs. Two round silver-tone pairs have fixed disc-style backs. One has a blue-gray woven, checked face. The other has a pink, rose-tone face with crosshatch texture. A gunmetal pair is formed as a knot on both ends. A chain-link pair joins square silver-tone plates with short links. Each pair appears to be the same design, piece for piece. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
