#1154 • Lot of 16 Watches with Extra Bands – U.S. Polo Assn. Boxed Watch & More
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $55.00
Status: Available
Sixteen watches with extra bands, one lot. Leading the pack: a U.S. Polo Assn. watch in a presentation box marked 'U.S. POLO ASSN.' and 'SINCE 1890', printed inside the lid and again on the front. The dial carries the U.S. Polo Assn. name and polo player logo. It looks to be a silver-tone dial with Arabic numerals and a two-tone case with a gold-tone bezel and crown, on what appears to be a dark brown crocodile-pattern strap. Two extra straps ride in the box, one black and one tan/brown, both with crocodile-pattern texture and white contrast stitching. Then the sporty side. One watch has 'G-SHOCK' and 'PROTECTION' molded on the bezel and looks to be an analog-digital style piece with blue hands. It has seen some weather: heavily soiled, with dirt, debris and light-colored spatter over the case, strap and crystal. A digital watch has buttons labeled ST/STP, LIGHT, MODE and ADJ, with WR165 and ALARM / CHRONO on the face. The brand on that one appears to read Armitron. The rest is a wide spread. What appears to be a mix of gold-tone, silver-tone, gunmetal-tone and black watches on metal bracelets and straps, several with stone-set bezels. One sits on a white strap with a square gold-tone case. A loose black strap comes along, plus what appears to be a loose gold-tone curved link or clasp piece. The sixteen appear to include a small rectangular silver-tone watch head with no strap attached. Plenty to sort, wear, or flip. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
