#1402 • Barber, Standing Liberty & Washington Quarters – 1908, 1922, & 1963, 90% Silver
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $30.00
Status: Available
Three quarters, three eras of American silver. This lot gathers a Barber quarter, a Standing Liberty quarter and a Washington quarter: one of each of the classic silver designs, listed as 90% Silver. The Barber quarter is dated 1908, with IN GOD WE TRUST above the head and the stars and legend still visible. It appears to show heavy wear to the high points and a gray tone, the look of a coin that spent its life in circulation. The 1922 Standing Liberty quarter is shown eagle-side up in a round clear capsule: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM and QUARTER DOLLAR around an eagle in flight. The eagle appears to show wear and a gray tone. The Washington quarter is dated 1963, with LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST crisp on the obverse. The reverse carries what appears to be a D mint mark below the wreath. It looks to show gray and brown toning and fine scratch lines. It sits in a round capsule inside a square clear holder. A tidy little type set, ready for a collector's album or a stacker's tube. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
