#1603 • NGC 1969 S Washington Quarter PF 67 – THE 33 CLUB Label
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $15.00
Status: Available
An NGC-graded 1969 S Washington quarter, sealed in its holder and labeled PF 67. The label reads "1969 S 25C" over the grade, with the NGC name and scales logo at the lower right. The right panel is a dark red insert printed "THE 33 CLUB" in gold, set inside a laurel wreath beside a coin design. It's a sharp-looking label. The coin is the real draw. Washington's bust faces left under "LIBERTY," with "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the date 1969. What appears to be an S mintmark sits to the right of the ribbon at the back of the hair, matching the label. The fields appear reflective and mirror-like, as you'd expect from a proof strike. Across the field and portrait there is what appears to be multicolored toning or coloration, with pink/orange and gray-blue tones. By general numismatic reference, 1969-S quarters appear to have been struck only as proofs at the San Francisco Mint, in copper-nickel clad. Grade: PF 67. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
