#1620 • Mixed Lincoln Pennies – Lincoln Cents, Toned Bright Copper to Dark Brown

Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $10.00

Status: Available

A pile of Lincoln pennies with plenty to sort. The lot is a loose spread of what appears to be several hundred one-cent coins, ready for the searcher, the roll-hunter or anyone who just likes running a hand through a heap of coppers. The face-up obverses carry the right-facing Lincoln bust with IN GOD WE TRUST and LIBERTY. The face-up reverses carry the Lincoln Memorial design with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE CENT. Colors run the full range, from bright copper to dark brown, so there is a lot of variety in the pile. These are coins that have lived a life. Several show what appear to be green or blue-green deposits consistent with verdigris, and some have what looks to be spotted, pitted or blistered surfaces. Mixed, unsorted, and waiting for someone with a magnifier and a free evening. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
