A 2011-dated replica of the American Buffalo design, the bison-and-profile classic, clearly marked COPY on the reverse. It is sold as a replica, plain and simple. The obverse carries a Native American profile facing right, with two feathers and a braid. LIBERTY runs along the right edge. The date 2011 sits on the shoulder, with a W to its left and an F beneath it. The fields look to be mirror-like against frosted devices, a proof-style look that makes the portrait stand out. The surface appears gold-colored. On the reverse, a standing bison faces left on its ground line. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA arcs across the top, E PLURIBUS UNUM sits at upper right, and IN GOD WE TRUST is in front of the bison at lower left. The bottom legend reads '1OZ .999 FINE GOLD' as part of the design, and COPY is stamped in the field beneath the bison's belly. The edge appears to be reeded.
