#1623 • Complete Native American Coin Set with 2000-D Sacagawea Dollar
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $25.00
Status: Available
A 2000-D Sacagawea dollar leads this four-coin display card, headed 'COMPLETE NATIVE AMERICAN COIN SET.' The gold-colored dollar shows LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, the portrait of a woman carrying an infant, and a D mint mark beneath the date. It sits right at the top, where it belongs. Next down is a Westward Journey nickel with the Louisiana Purchase reverse: clasped hands beneath a crossed pipe and tomahawk, with LOUISIANA PURCHASE and the commemorated date 1803. Below that is what appears to be a Buffalo (Indian Head) nickel, shown obverse up. At the bottom is what appears to be an Indian Head cent, also obverse up, with a date that appears to begin '190'. The coins run in a column down the left side of the card. The right side carries a printed illustration of a Native American man with face paint, a headband and a beaded garment. That is four coins and one theme on a single card. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
