#599 • U.S. State Silver Bar, 1 Troy Oz, .999 Silver

Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $70.00

Status: Available

One full troy ounce of .999 silver, and it brings a face worth looking at. The bar carries a right-facing profile portrait of a Native American man, two feathers at the back of the head and a braided lock falling behind. The design looks to be modeled on the Indian head of the classic U.S. Buffalo nickel. Not a bad face to stack. Below the portrait the lettering reads 'U.S. STATE SILVER BAR' and 'FULL TROY OZ.' in what appears to be raised, struck-type lettering standing up off a reflective field. The bar is a rectangle with rounded corners and a raised border framing the face. Some small dark spots and fine surface lines appear on the field, including to the right of the portrait. A one-ounce bar is the easy way into silver, or one more for the pile. Starting low, closing Oct 28. .999 Silver Weight: 1 ozt All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
