#703 • 14kt Gold Ring With Diamonds & Semi-Precious Stones, Size 10.5, 9.0g
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $600.00
Status: Available
A big, bold yellow gold ring with real design going on. Five round colorless stones run in a single diagonal row across the top. They look to be in a channel-style setting between two raised metal rails. At one end sits a flat inlay of blue and green play-of-color, set flush in a metal bezel. It has the look of what appears to be opal or an opal-type material, with patchy blue, green and teal flashes. Opposite the inlay is a raised circle with a single straight slot cut across it, a screw-head motif. Between that and the stone row run diagonal twisted, rope-textured bars. Stepped parallel grooves frame the shoulders on both sides. The ring is a wide band with what appears to be a flat, rectangular signet-style top. Industrial, a little mechanical, and nothing like the ring everybody else is wearing. The listing calls it 14kt gold with diamonds and semi-precious stones. Size 10.5, so it suits a larger hand. It shows honest wear: surface scratches and scuffs on the top and the shank. A small dark spot appears in one shoulder groove on the inlay side. 14kt Gold with Diamonds and Semi-Precious Stones Weight: 9.0g Size: 10.5 All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
