Say it in gold. This lot pairs a 14kt gold necklace with a #1 DAD pendant: a big numeral 1, a # symbol to its left, and DAD laid across the lower part of the numeral. One chain, one pendant, and a message nobody has to explain. The pendant is built on contrast. The 1 carries a stippled, textured surface inside a ribbed border. The # has a beaded texture. The DAD letters are smooth and polished, so they stand out. It hangs from the chain by a bail fixed to the top of the numeral with a small ring. The chain looks to be a figaro-style pattern, with elongated links alternating with groups of shorter links, and what appear to be flat, polished faces. The set appears yellow in color.
