#1003 • 26 Gold Plated Costume Rings: Stone-Set and Scorpion Motif Styles

Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $35.00

Status: Available

Twenty-six rings, one lot. These are gold plated costume rings, and there is a lot going on here. The headliner is a scorpion ring: an embossed scorpion on an octagonal top, framed top and bottom by a Greek key style border. Four more carry a single rectangular faceted colored stone: two red, one blue, one green. Then come the motifs. There appear to be seven rings with what looks to be a horse head inside a horseshoe. Others appear to show a round coin-style top with an eagle figure and lettering around the edge, a spread-wing eagle seal style design, two coat-of-arms style crests, a horse-and-rider figure on a square top, and a symbol that looks to be a dollar sign. Several rose-tone rings appear to carry a crown-shaped motif inside a Greek key style border. The rest look to be square-top signet styles with geometric and line designs. Most appear to have decorative relief on the shoulders. The colors look to be a mix of yellow-gold and rose-gold tones. That makes it easy to sort into stacks, gifts, costume pieces or resale lots. One bid takes the whole group. Includes: (26) Gold Plated Costume Rings All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
