#1102 • Bulova and Citizen Eco-Drive Men's Watches – Two-Watch Lot
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $140.00
Status: Available
Two men's watches, one bid. A Bulova and a Citizen Eco-Drive, and they could not look less alike. The Bulova's dial is marked 262 kHz, with a word partly under the hands that appears to read PRECISIONIST, a Bulova line that appears to use a high-frequency quartz movement rated at 262 kHz. The dial looks to be dark gray/black with a radiating pattern, applied baton hour markers and a date window at 3. The hour and minute hands appear silver-tone, with what appears to be a copper/rose-colored seconds hand for a little warmth. The case looks to be silver-tone with the crown at 3, on what appears to be a black leather-type strap with a crocodile-style embossed texture. Dressy. Quiet. Sharp. The Citizen is the loud one. Eco-Drive on the dial, which appears to be Citizen's light-powered quartz system. Green dial, date window at 3. Green bezel insert with a triangle at 12 and numerals 10 through 50, set inside a gold-tone notched outer ring. Gold-tone crown at 3. Two-tone link bracelet, silver-tone outer links and gold-tone center links. The hour markers appear to be elongated with gold-tone surrounds and light-colored fill, matched by what look to be gold-tone hands with light-colored fill. The case looks to be silver-tone where it shows, and small print at 6 appears to begin 'JAPAN MOV'T'. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
