#1399 • 4 U.S. Silver Dimes: 1845 Seated Liberty, 1911 Barber, Mercury, Roosevelt

Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $20.00

Status: Available

An 1845 Seated Liberty dime leads this lot, with the date legible on the coin. Its reverse appears to show UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the rim. It brings three more classic U.S. dime designs along with it. Four dimes, four types, one bid. Described as 90% silver. The 1911 Barber dime shows Liberty's head with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the date on the obverse, and ONE DIME inside a wreath on the back. The Mercury dime, the Winged Liberty head, has its fasces reverse and sits in a flip marked 1945 D. The Roosevelt dime shows LIBERTY up front and the torch with ONE DIME and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on the back. It comes in a bag marked 1963D and appears to show dark toning on the obverse, with multicolored toning on the reverse. All four look to be circulated coins. The 1845 appears to carry the heaviest wear, with design detail flattened. Each flip or bag is hand-marked 90% and 10¢. A tidy little type set for a collector who likes their silver with some history on it. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
