#1598 • 1976 Bicentennial 40% Silver Three-Coin Set: Kennedy, Eisenhower, Washington

Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $25.00

Status: Available

Three Bicentennial designs, one sealed package. This 1976 set brings together the Kennedy half dollar, the Eisenhower dollar and the Washington quarter, each carrying the special 1776-1976 dual date. Staff list it as 40% silver, struck at San Francisco. The Eisenhower dollar carries the Liberty Bell over the Moon on the reverse. The Kennedy half shows Independence Hall. The Washington quarter has the colonial drummer. These are the reverses that marked the nation's two-hundredth birthday, and they are all here in one set. What appears to be a small 'S' mint mark sits on the half dollar obverse, below the bust and above the date. The coins ride in their own pockets of soft, flexible clear film with a heat-sealed grid pattern. The film appears intact around each coin. A tidy Bicentennial piece for a collection, a gift, or the drawer of someone who remembers 1976. From the listing: 40% Silver. Mint: San Francisco. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
