#1605 • (15) Eisenhower Dollars – Bicentennial 1776-1976 Plus 1974 & 1978 Dates
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $15.00
Status: Available
Fifteen Eisenhower dollars, heavy on the Bicentennial. At least ten carry the dual 1776-1976 date, and two more appear to be Bicentennials as well, their dates softened by spotting and wear. Flip them over and you get the Bicentennial reverse: the Liberty Bell in front of the Moon, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA along the top rim, ONE DOLLAR at the bottom and E PLURIBUS UNUM. The rest of the legible dates round out the run: one 1974 and two 1978. Every coin shows the Eisenhower obverse, left-facing bust under LIBERTY with IN GOD WE TRUST at left. These have lived a little. Several coins show dark spots and specks and uneven toning, and some show what appears to be tan or golden toning. Fifteen Ikes in one lot, Bicentennials leading the pack. Bring a coin roll and an opinion. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
