High bid $10.00
Status: Available
A world tour in a handful. This mixed foreign coinage lot brings krones, German coins, lire coins, euros and more, with what appears to be roughly 38 coins in the group photo. Norway leads off with holed 1 krone coins, two of them dated 1998 and 1999, plus a holed NORGE coin with a crowned cross design. Germany answers with brass-colored 10 Pfennig pieces and a BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND eagle with a J below. Also present is what appears to be a 50 Pfennig-style coin showing a kneeling woman planting a seedling, apparently dated 1990, and what looks to be a larger silver-colored German coin with a portrait and BUNDESREPUBLIK legend. The euro side is strong. There is a 20 euro cent, a 5 euro cent and a bimetal 2 euro. There are French Marianne cents, two dated 2001. There is what appears to be a bimetal French 1 euro with the LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ tree, apparently dated 1999, and what look to be gold-colored French cents with the sower design. Italy shows up in what appears to be a large gold-colored coin with a portrait and the partial legend ...ITALIANA. The stragglers are worth a look too. There is a 12-sided Canadian 1 cent from 1987 with a maple leaf. There are two silver-colored coins with an ELIZABETH II D.G. REGINA portrait. There are also what appear to be Swiss-style coins with a 20 and a 10 inside a wreath. The coins appear circulated, with toning and wear. Sort it, swap it, or start a collection. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
