#1746 • Commemorative Disney Tokens: Mickey .999 Silver, Disneyland, Snow White 50th

Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $25.00

Status: Available

Pure silver and Mickey Mouse, in one lot. The headliner is a Mickey coin marked "PURE SOLID .999 FINE SILVER" along the bottom rim and "© 1987 DISNEY" along the top. The face appears to show a standing Mickey with "MICKEY" in big block letters across the center and the legend "SIXTY YEARS WITH YOU" around him, his ears tucked over part of the lettering. The other side appears to carry a Mickey figure design. It sits in a round clear capsule on a black insert, with what appears to be orange-brown discoloration at the rim and spots on the surface. Next up, a Disneyland medal. Sleeping Beauty Castle on one side, "Disneyland" in script below, and rim text that appears to read "WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS". The reverse appears to show a central Mickey ringed by segments named for park areas, including "NEW ORLEANS SQUARE" and "TOMORROWLAND". It looks to have a bronze-toned finish and rides in a stapled cardboard 2x2-style holder that appears to show a stain or tape residue at one corner and a pen mark on the back. Rounding it out, a Snow White token reading "WALT DISNEY'S CLASSIC Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 50th Anniversary July 17 1987", which appears to mark fifty years since the 1937 film. The other side appears to show Snow White with the dwarfs. Gold-toned in appearance, in a clear pouch that appears sealed.
