#3522 • Wooden Spoon Display Racks (3), State Souvenir Spoons & Vintage Picnic Basket

Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $15.00

Status: Available

A spoon collector's wall, ready to hang. This lot brings together three wooden spoon collection holders, a box of collectable state and memorabilia souvenir spoons, and a vintage woven picnic basket. One bid takes the lot. Each rack has its own look. The left one wears a reddish-brown finish, with three horizontal slotted rails, scalloped top and bottom edges, and a hanging hole in the top crest. Its backboard shows what appear to be lighter patches of dust or finish wear. The middle rack has a darker brown finish, slotted rails, and a scalloped bottom edge. The right one is a flat, lighter-brown board with two parallel slotted rails, scalloped edges, and what appears to be a small hanging hole near one edge. The spoons come packed loose in a clear plastic bag inside a shallow white cardboard box. Unbag them, sort them, slot them in. Then there's the basket. The vintage woven picnic basket has a flat wooden lid, a woven body with a diamond/zigzag pattern, and two bentwood carry handles. The body looks to be woven from reed or rattan-type material with wood banding. The lid shows what appears to be a weathered, uneven finish. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
