#1308 • 1926 Peace Dollar, 90% Silver, 26.6g
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $55.00
Status: Available
A 1926 Peace dollar. Radiate-crowned Liberty faces left, LIBERTY arcs across the top, IN GOD WE TRVST flanks the neck, and the date 1926 sits below the bust. What appears to be a small monogram rests below the neck truncation, just right of center. The edge is reeded. Listed as 90% silver, Philadelphia mint, at 26.6g. This one has lived a life. The hair and crown rays appear worn on the high points. The portrait and fields show numerous small scratches and marks, including a longer line on the cheek. The toning looks to be gray, with darker spots near the rim and on the neck. It sells as a loose coin, ready for a folder, a date set, or the silver pile. A classic American dollar with honest character. 90% Silver. Mint: Philadelphia. Weight: 26.6g. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
