#1589 • (12) U.S. $1 Coins: 2000 Sacagawea, Johnson & Harding Presidential Dollars
Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)
High bid $15.00
Status: Available
A dozen U.S. dollar coins in one lot. Nine are 2000 Sacagawea dollars, from the first year of the series, each showing Sacagawea with her infant, LIBERTY and the 2000 date. Seven holders are hand-labeled 2000 P and one is hand-labeled 2000 D. On three of the coins, the letter below the date appears to be a P mintmark. The back row brings variety. There is a Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential dollar and a Warren G. Harding Presidential dollar, both with their portraits and names on the face, and both holders marked PROOF. Each shows what appear to be mirror-like fields with frosted portraits, with the Harding field noticeably darker and more mirror-like. Rounding it out is what appears to be a 2022 American Innovation dollar for Tennessee, with TENNESSEE on the face and a dam and power lines in the design. Every coin sits in its own white cardboard holder, laid out in three rows of four. One Sacagawea looks hazy or cloudy next to the others, and the 2000 D shows what appears to be a dark spot near the left rim. Either one may be on the coin or on the holder window. Twelve dollars in face, a lot more fun in hand. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
