#1645 • Six Eisenhower Dollars, 1971-1977 Dates, Incl. Two 1776-1976 Bicentennials

Part of October Multi-Estate Auction (timed auction by Bid Fast and Last)

High bid $10.00

Status: Available

Six Ike dollars in one lot, spanning 1971 to 1977. The dates: 1971, 1972, 1974, 1977, plus not one but two dual-dated 1776-1976 Bicentennial coins. That's the big Eisenhower portrait, LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, six times over. The 1974 shows a clear D mint mark below the bust, above the date. One of the Bicentennials carries what appears to be a small mark in the same spot. The coins appear silver-gray, and the 1972 looks to have a pink/reddish tone that sets it apart from the rest. These are coins that got handled. The Bicentennial in the close-up shows fine scratches and contact marks on the cheek, the head and the open fields. The 1974 appears to show small contact marks, including a line across the cheek near the eye. They come loose, ready for an album, a date set or a desk drawer. A tidy starter group for an Eisenhower date set, or a handful of the last big dollars for anyone who remembers them in change. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
