Foreign Currency, and plenty of it: what appears to be 13 coins. A coin reading VICTORIA DEI GRATIA REGINA CANADA carries a portrait of Queen Victoria, and it looks to be a Canadian large cent. George V turns up twice: a silver-colored coin inscribed GEORGIVS V REX IMPERATOR with a crowned bust, and a copper-colored one reading GEORGIVS V DEI GRA REX ET IND IMP, which shows what appears to be heavy wear and scratches across the portrait. The north is well represented. One coin carries BRODRAFOLKENS VAL around a crowned monogram, the motto of Oscar II, so it appears to be Swedish. Another reads 5 FEM ORE with three crowns. There is a copper-colored 1 PENNI dated 1912 that appears to be from Finland's Grand Duchy period, and a 1950 BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND coin with an oak sprig that looks to be a West German 1 pfennig. Further afield: a copper-colored coin inscribed ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS with an eagle, and a large copper-colored CENTAVOS coin dated 1965 that appears to be a Mexican 20 centavos, pyramid design. A silver-colored EMPIRE CHERIFIEN coin with a five-pointed star and Arabic script appears to be Moroccan. Add a small silver-colored coin with a crowned 2 in a wreath, its date shown as what appears to be 19 17, a small white coin, and another small silver-colored coin. The group appears to show circulation wear, toning and discoloration. Coins that went places. All lots sell as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Preview in person before bidding.
